Bloodhunt Summer Update Brings Team Deathmatch Mode

Get ready for all-out war in new 8v8 TDM

Sharkmob’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is set for a substantial Summer Update, as the battle royale title prepares for the beta launch of the all-new 8v8 Team Deathmatch mode on July 14.

Two teams will battle each other with unlimited respawns and the first team to reach the score limit wins. This new game mode will have five unique areas in Prague as battlegrounds including Slaughterhouse, Disco, Hotel, Construction and Harbor.

“Our game can be quite challenging when playing solo or even in duos so we are particularly excited to be able to introduce the Team Deathmatch mode to give players a thrilling new experience with more playtime per person than ever before in the battlegrounds of Prague,” shared Live Producer David Sirland.

“We will continue to focus on working hard to enhance the current game experience as much as possible, listening to player feedback and keeping our community updated with the roadmap of future content.”

In addition to the new game mode, Sharkmob is rolling out a new Summer Pass with over 100+ new items up for grabs for just 600 Tokens in the update for Bloodhunt. This will also include new content, significant quality of life improvements, and minor and major bug fixes.

“As a team, we have decided to move away from the traditional seasons model within Battle Royale games, and instead we will be focusing on giving players smaller, more regular updates. We feel that sustaining seasons in the typical way is not what works for our relatively small team so we want to challenge the norm by releasing updates much faster than previously planned but in smaller chunks.”

Players can look forward to new map areas to do battle in, with the Ventrue train added to the Train Station map and 3 new roof entrances and other smaller tweaks to the interior layout of Rudolfinum. The Ventrue area, previously locked in Elysium, will also be opened, where players can meet Em, the Ventrue primogen, and get quests from her. Toreador Maia’s nightclub will also open its doors as the perfect area for players to show off their vampire persona.
