Supporting & Empowering Studios Through a Recession

With the world undergoing major changes in the past few years, it is no wonder that the gaming industry has embraced the idea of consolidation as a means of survival. Just in 2022 alone, more than 651 deals were announced or closed with a disclosed value of at least $107 billion.

As part of the industry, Level Infinite understands the need for support when it comes to the studios, made even more so due to the uncertain future. And as our presence at the recently-concluded Gamescom 2022 has shown, there is still plenty to come from many of our partner studios, including Dune: Awakening, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, V Rising, Metal: Hellsinger, Tower of Fantasy, and The Cycle: Frontier.

The message was emphasized by both Pete Smith, Vice President of Partnerships, and Eddie Chan, Chief Strategy Officer, who took the time to speak to Dean Takahashi of VentureBeat.
