What to know about the Honor of Kings Plus 2.0 update: Devara, Grand Venture rewards, and Peak Day bonuses

Two years on from its global launch, Honor of Kings is hitting one of its biggest moments of the year. Plus 2.0 is the title’s largest content update of 2026, and it is built to give returning players something to come back for while making the road smooth for everyone else.

Developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Level Infinite, Honor of Kings is marking its second global anniversary with an update that stacks new heroes, a new reward loop, and a long list of player-facing improvements. Here is the short version. Plus 2.0 adds Devara, a new hero inspired by traditional Indian culture, brings in three Arena of Valor heroes, launches the Grand Venture reward loop, rolls out Super Flow Brawl 2.0, and folds in a broad set of quality-of-life changes shaped by community feedback. As Game Producer Dean Huang put it, “our community has always been our greatest source of inspiration.”

A new hero joins the Clash Lane, with three more heroes on the way

The headline addition is Devara, a brand-new Clash Lane hero built around close-range pressure. Devara is a “Burst Fighter” with high burst and sustained damage, plus a “Thunder wizard” style that turns face-to-face combat into a damage machine. Devara is available for 13,888 Gold Coins or 588 Tokens, with a 50% discount during the first week of release on June 17.

Plus 2.0 is not stopping at one new face. Annette the support, Lorion the Mage, and Florentino the Fighter, all established Arena of Valor heroes, are also joining the matchmaking lineup.

Grand Venture and Peak Day put the reward loop front and center

The major system push in the update is Grand Venture, a player-driven economy feature that rewards active play. Players can stay active, complete activities, trade earned items through the Consignment Shop, collect Exchange Tokens from successful transactions, and redeem those tokens for exclusive rewards and other valuable items.

Then there is Peak Day. From June 17 to July 26, the event window layers in collaborations, login rewards, partner event bonuses, and time-limited access perks. On June 27 and 28, players can log in to claim a co-created Flowborn skin and 1,000 limited-time token vouchers. From June 27 to July 3, all heroes and skins released by June 17, 2026 will be free to use. There is also a Mega Red Packet Rain event on June 27 and 28, plus 1,688 token vouchers that become redeemable starting June 27 and can be used toward permanent direct-sale skins including Kaizer – Annihilator.

The giveaway numbers are not subtle. Players can claim free rewards worth up to 4,000 Token Vouchers on June 27 alone, and more than 10,000 Token Vouchers across the full event period.

The quality-of-life changes may be the part players feel first

New heroes usually get the spotlight, but the practical changes here may have the longest tail. Plus 2.0 lowers the entry barrier with reduced redundant downloads, a smaller overall package size, and a chapter-based guide for newcomers with clearer progression goals.

The battlefield side gets attention too. The update refines in-match controls, improves visual fidelity, and optimizes system performance for smoother play across supported devices, whether players are on lower-end or higher-end hardware. The lobby upgrade and Personal Gallery round out a section of the update that’s built to ensure a smooth gameplay experience for all players.

Creator support and Super Flow Brawl 2.0 widen the update’s range

Honor of Kings is also using this moment to push on creator support. Since June 1, HOK Studio has limited competition to regional rankings instead of global rankings, which gives creators more chances to win from the monthly Token pool. Creators can also earn up to 20,000 additional tokens for standout performance on top of the monthly base rewards. The HOK Advanced Creator Program is now available in all regions, with invitations sent by official email and support tied to potential monthly rewards and offline event opportunities.

Starting June 27, Super Flow Brawl 2.0 adds major talent paths that players can mix and match to build different strategies and adjust during combat. And just to keep June busy, the 2026 Asian Games Esports Qualifiers: Honor of Kings is running in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from June 13 to 21, with 20 teams competing for a place at the 20th Asian Games main event in Nagoya, Japan.
