Inflexion Games, the studio behind the highly anticipated shared-world survival crafting game Nightingale, has announced a partnership with Intel. In collaboration, the Alberta-based developer will be showing off a new trailer with new gameplay features at The Game Awards on Thursday, Dec. 8.

Nightingale will launch with the Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) technology from Intel, and will be optimized for Intel Arc Graphics. Intel Xe Super Sampling technology (XeSS) integrates AI-enhanced upscaling to unleash more performance with high image fidelity.

In addition, Intel will be celebrating the Nightingale partnership with “The Ultimate Realmwalker Survival Giveaway”. Starting Nov. 30, Intel will be unveiling prizes between now and The Game Awards. Prizes will include Intel Arc desktop graphics cards, Intel Core desktop processors, and more, including a grand prize unveiling when The Game Awards get underway.

This partnership with Intel supports Inflexion’s vision to create richly-detailed, expansive, and immersive virtual worlds for Nightingale. Along with this announcement, Inflexion Games recently announced additional visual enhancements thanks to Unreal Engine 5. This includes revamped real-time Global Illumination powered by Lumen, a fully dynamic global illumination and reflection system.

Inflexion Games has recently started Nightingale’s Closed Alpha playtesting. This early stage of testing is limited to a small number of players, who will provide feedback on a number of areas of gameplay. Community members eager to participate in upcoming playtests can register their interest on the official website.

Nightingale is currently in development for an Early Access PC release in the first half of 2023.
