Stampede: Racing Royale is about to give eager players a head start on trying out the massive multiplayer kart racer. Starting today, the title will be available through the Xbox Inside Program and for two weeks in a Steam Playtest.
Developed by Sumo Leamington, Stampede: Racing Royale allows players to outdrive opponents in huge 60-player battle royale-style races. It combines traditional circuit racing with arena-based battles.
The preview access was revealed at the ID@Xbox Showcase on IGN. Watch the new trailer here for a glimpse of the action to expect:
Through this preview, Sumo hopes to introduce the game to players early and encourage them to share their thoughts and ideas on what they’d like to see in future.
Besides racing, Stampede: Racing Royale, also allows players to customize their vehicles and characters to add a personal touch to the game. Players are encouraged to unlock new vehicles and outfits for their characters to add to their libraries.
The game is published by Secret Mode, and is on track to come to Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam in early access this summer.
