The new Vigor update delivers more content for players to chew through
Bohemia Interactive has released the latest update for free-to-play looter-shooter, Vigor, in the form of Vigor Chronicles: Absolution.
The new update will introduce a brand new story for players to experience, a new Elimination map alongside tweaks to the game mode, a new consumable with the radioactive grenade, the new L86A1 LSW machine gun, reworkings on various machine guns, and a number of quality of life changes.
Players will follow the research of Dr. Dubois and Dr. Azimov as they stumble upon a dark secret in their search to reverse the effects of radiation.
“This is a story that will eventually provide a lot of information that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before. It will also make the players question the choices made by the characters and see if they would react the same way in that situation. It’s super interesting to listen to, and thought-provoking as well,” says Vigor’s Brand Manager, Filip Stastny.
The arrival of Vigor Chronicles: Absolution expands the lore in the game, with each update adding another piece to the puzzle. The nature of Absolution takes a darker turn by exploring the themes of morality and personal values, as well as how easily one can let go of them in a post-apocalyptic world.

Vigor is now available on Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
