Warhammer: 40,000: Darktide Sees Delay to November Launch

More time will be needed by developer Fatshark before players can enjoy the visceral co-op experience that is Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, as the studio has announced a delay for the game from its original October release. Now, the game has a new launch date of November 30 for PC, with Xbox Series X|S versions launching “shortly after.”

“Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces and one we are not excited about making,” shared Fatshark. “Still, we hope this speaks to our commitment to taking the time necessary and doing whatever it takes to get you the best possible game.”

Although the wait will be longer due to the delay, this will result in a better overall experience when Warhammer 40,000: Darktide gets into the hands of eager players. The improvements made to “stability, performance, and to mature key systems” are crucial, which is what led to the decision.

In lieu of the delay, Fatshark has also announced that a technical test will commence soon. Interested players can sign up now to see what the fuss is all about ahead of November.
