Witness The Combat That Powers The Fun in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Bring the pain and unleash hell on your enemies

Swedish developer Fatshark had unveiled its latest trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide at Summer Game Fest, giving players a taste of the visceral combat that awaits in the city of Tertium.

With heretics having sabotaged the power system, the job falls to the four anti-heroes to save the day while braving the risks of death and enjoying all of the chaos and mayhem that is a trademark of the 4-player co-op experience.

An increased focus on ranged combat in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will increase the options available to teams to eliminate the opposition, while the enemy definitely has their own tricks to make things hard for the players.

“It’s been an exciting, and maybe a little crazy week for Fatshark, with two brand new Warhammer 40,000: Darktide trailers released,” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “While last week’s amazing Warhammer Skulls trailer focused more on story, gameplay is what it all comes down to, and today we gave you almost 120 seconds of Darktide.”

While the gameplay looks set to be swift and satisfying, the visuals of the game will also be enhanced thanks to the use of more advanced technology available to the developers.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will launch with NVIDIA DLSS, Ray Tracing, and Reflex, greatly enhancing the visual fidelity and immersion of the game. Using NVIDIA DLSS, players can maximize performance with the power of AI while fighting back hordes of bloodthirsty foes, and with NVIDIA Reflex, responsiveness in the game will be at its best with the lowest latency possible.

Interested players can pre-order Warhammer 40,000: Darktide in two versions ahead of the game’s launch on September 13.
