Stampede: Racing Royale Revs Up for Second Steam Playtest This August

Following the roaring success of its first Steam Playtest, Stampede: Racing Royale is revving the engines for a second round of chaotic racing action. The quick pit-stop will be followed up by a second Steam Playtest this coming August 21 to 28, with players likely to benefit even more out on the track.

Building on the first Playtest, there will be a wealth of bug fixes based on player feedback. All the same tracks will be returning from the previous Playtest, with new cosmetics added to create any desired style. The second Steam Playtest for Stampede: Racing Royale will give players another taste of what’s to come, with full patch notes shared on the game’s Steam page.

Stampede: Racing Royale will launch into Early Access later in 2023, with more content being planned by Sumo Leamington and Secret Mode to enrich the launch experience.

For those unfamiliar with the racing mayhem that is coming, prepare to step on the gas in thrilling kart racing and battle events, with 60 participants all competing simultaneously. Harness those driving skills and a huge range of power-ups to power to the front of the herd in classic circuit racing, or fight the crowd head-on to score the most points in arena-based battles.

As the Steam Playtest teases, the more players race, the more options there are for customization. Custom paints, stickers, and clothing for characters are but the tip of the iceberg in Stampede: Racing Royale. And with Seasons, Events, Challenges, and more coming, there will always be something to be a part of.

Be sure to register for the Stampede: Racing Royale Steam Playtest ahead of time, and prepare to hit the tracks in just a few days’ time.
