Level Infinite Reaches Agreement With EA for All-New Command & Conquer: Legions

Level Infinite will release a new Command & Conquer mobile game via a licensing agreement with Electronic Arts. Command & Conquer: Legions, published by Level Infinite, is a new mobile strategy game based in the Command & Conquer (C&C) universe.

The game incorporates iconic heroes and villains, factions and a vast array of units from across the Command & Conquer games. The reimagined storyline and a new approach to strategy gameplay open up endless strategic possibilities. The game will have a Closed Beta Test later this month in Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and the Philippines for Android devices. The global launch for Android and iOS devices is planned for later this year.

Command & Conquer: Legions is being created with both mobile platforms and mobile gamers in mind, matching the way people play on their devices with shorter, faster sessions and streamlined controls,” said Anthony Crouts, Senior Director, Level Infinite. “The mobile strategy gameplay of Legions provides a new type of experience while presenting familiar units, heroes and aspects of previous C&C games.”

In Command & Conquer: Legions, players can engage in real-time PVE and PVP battles against other factions as they collect Tiberium, a powerful resource brought to earth that can either be used for technological advancement or to unleash destruction on enemies. On a large map shared with other commanders globally, leaders will be able to form strategic alliances of their choosing to coordinate attacks with allies, share resources, and strategize to outwit enemies. Send units to capture strategic locations and acquire as many Tiberium spikes as possible and claim precious resources. Outposts will extend reach and secure supply lines as players harvest resources, build bases, develop advanced technologies, and conquer cities and regions to claim victory.
